Через семь лет после бракосочетания Кэйт Миддлтон и принца Уильяма родители герцогини решили продать ее лондонскую квартиру.

По данным издания, апартаменты, в которых когда-то жили сестры Кейт и Пиппа Мидлтон, выставили на продажу за 2,5 миллиона долларов.

The Chelsea flat that Kate and Pippa shared in their 20s is now being sold by the Middletons for £1,950,000 / $2,482,000. The three-bedroom apartment is accessed on the first floor through an internal flight of stairs leading to a double reception room and kitchen. The third floor comprises the master bedroom and en suite, with a picturesque view over Justice Walk, and two further bedrooms, along with a family bathroom. Michael and Carole Middleton bought the flat for £750,000 in 2002 for their children to use in London. The couple spent time doing up the home before putting it on the market. Kate moved into the flat after she graduated from St Andrew’s University in 2005 and got a job at Jigsaw the following year. Once she moved in with William, Pippa and James lived there for a while, before Pippa got married and James got a job as a tour guide in Scotland. Kate and William moved to a cottage in Anglesey, Wales in 2010 where they remained until 2013. Unlike St Andrew’s, where William and Kate were given privacy, the future duchess was constantly hounded by paparazzi who would wait outside her flat every morning when she left for work, and every evening when she returned. They would even follow her to her work at Jigsaw sometimes and camp outside waiting. Kate’s flat was fitted with state-of-the-art security for this reason. Chelsea is one of the most expensive neighbourhoods to buy a property in in London. It was home to the Beatles, Rolling Stones and Kylie Minogue. Winnie the Pooh author A. A. Milne lived on the same street as Kate, Old Church Street. The median property price of a home in this neighborhood is 1.3 million pounds, and the highest house price on the market is 25 million pounds, according to Investopedia. 📷Pictures via Knight Frank property listing.
